The Geometer’s Sketchpad (GSP) is a commercial interactive software program used for exploring Euclidean geometry, algebra, calculus, and other areas of mathematics. It pioneered the concept of “Dynamic Geometry,” which allows users to construct geometric figures and dynamically alter them by dragging their components while preserving core mathematical relationships. Creation: Developed between 1986 and 1991 at Swarthmore College as part of an NSF-funded Visual Geometry Project.
